Nitazoxanide 500mg Coated Tablets or
Nitazoxanide Powder for Oral Suspension 60mg/5ml

Composition:
Each coated tablet contains:
Nitazoxanide 500 mg
Excipients q.s.p. 1 tablet

Each 5ml of reconstituted suspension contains:
Nitazoxanide 100 mg
Excipients q.s.p. 5 ml

Indications: acute intestinal amoebic infections or amoebic dysentery caused by Entamoeba histolytica. Infections caused by Giardia lamblia. Helminthiasis nematode (Enterobius vermicularis, Ascaris lumbricoides, Strongyloides stercoralis, Ancylostoma duodenalis, Necator americanus, Trichuris trichiura). Helminthiasis tapeworm (Taenia saginata, Taenia solium, Hymenolepis nana). Helminthiasis fluke (Fasciola hepatica). Trichomonas vaginalis.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity to nitazoxanide. Use in children under 2 years.

Dosage: Oral, adults: amebiasis (cysts and trophozoites), giardiasis, trichomoniasis and helminth infections: 500mg administered twice a day for 3 consecutive days. Fasciolasis: administering 500mg every 12 hours for 7 consecutive days. Oral Children: amebiasis, giardiasis and intestinal worms: 7.5 mg / kg every 12 hours for 3 consecutive days. Fasciolasis: 7.5 mg / kg every 12 hours for 7 consecutive days.

Presentation: Box of 6 tablets or as requested packaging.
