THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: The acetoxietil cefuroxima (or axetil cefuroxima) is an oral prodrug of cefuroxima, the bactericidal, resistant cefalosporínico antimicrobial to the majority of betalactamasas and assets against an extensive
variety of grampositivos and gramnegativos microorganisms. It is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by sensible germs, between these appear the following: Infections of the respiratory tract superior: Average otitis,
sinusitis, tonsilitis, faringitis. Infections of the respiratory tract inferior: Pneumonia, acute, chronic and chronic bronchitis exacerbated. Infections of the genito-urinary tract: Pielonefritis, cystitis and uretritis, uretritis and noncomplicated gonocóccica cervicitis.

Soft infections of the skin and weaves: Furunculosis, pioderma and impétigo. Cefuroxima may also be used for other
purposes not listed in this medication guide.
