THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: Anticonvulsivante. SABRIL is indicated in the treatment of the epilepsy. It is possible to be used satisfactorily in association or like monotherapy in patients with epilepsy noncontrolled by the conventional therapy, or like monotherapy in patients with epilepsy diagnosed recently.

Also it is indicated like monotherapy in the treatment of partial crises and tonicoclónicas crises secondly generalized, as well as in infantile spasms (syndrome of West). Sabril may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
