Why is Zyloprim
prescribed? Zyloprim is used in the treatment of many symptoms of gout,

form of arthritis characterized by increased blood levels of uric acid. Zyloprim
works by reducing uric acid production in the body, thus preventing crystals
from forming. Zyloprim may also be used for conditions other than those listed
